Shalom! Rev. Laura Reed preached on Peace. We say we need ‘some peace and quiet,’ we want ‘piece of
mind,’ and we always pray for peace. The Bible mentions peace 329 times, encouraging us to find our
peace in God through Jesus Christ. We are to have peace and be peacemakers, to live in peace and live
peaceably with all. The Peace of Christ be with you now and forever more!
TWO NEW MEMBERS WERE ADDED TO THE CHURCH ROLL
Sunday morning was a joyous celebration as we welcomed two new members to the church. If you have
not met these women, seek them out this Sunday and introduce yourself.
Cindy Southers has been attending regularly for some time and has taught the Adult Sunday school
class.
Cathy Vaughn has become active in the CPWM and Faith Circle as well as SS class. She also brings scones
and muffins for our fellowship time on Sunday morning.
We look forward to these talented Christian women becoming even more involved and we rejoice in the
way the Lord will be using them in the Church in the future. We are very glad to welcome them as a
church members.
CHRISTMAS CAROLS ARE COMING TO TOWN – We are going to be singing more Christmas Carols during
the worship services between now and the end of December, and maybe some Epiphany songs into
January in the new year. Joy to the World, the Lord Has Come.
