Pastor Laura started the New Year of 2023 with a Bible story from Numbers the 22 nd chapter. Balaam, Balak and Baal were involved and the donkey proved to be the smartest of the bunch. Listen to the word of God and your guardian angels will guide you. Good advice anytime, but especially for the start of the new year. God bless you in 2023!
DEATHS OF PEOPLE IN OUR CONGREGATION AND FRIENDS
This week we are saddened by the deaths of Ed Barden and Terry Brandon, as wee as Penny’s niece, Karen Baker. Please pray for their families and friends as they grieve. We will miss Ed’s smiling face on Sunday mornings; he brought a lot of joy with him when he came to church.
BLESSING IN THE NEW YEAR – Now that the holidays are over and we are going back to school and work, why not make you New Year’s Resolution to be faithful in your church attendance in 2023?
